Barossa Brewing Company is a boutique brewery in the Barossa region of South Australia. Our hallmarks are natural ingredients, tradition and quality.

Combining a dedication to the ancient German Purity Law of 1516 and the Barossa’s 150 year long tradition of quality, The Barossa Brewing Company produces small batches of pure, traditionally brewed beers, hand-crafted from the best ingredients.

The Barossa is home to some great boutique vineyards and wineries and we draw inspiration from their success, focusing on natural ingredients, innovation and quality to produce great tasting beer.

Established 1998, we have spent years in research and development of our products. It was tough work, but someone had to do it!

Our distinctive beers - The Miller’s Lager, Greenock Dark Ale and Wheatstore Ale - are available for sale at a few selected bottle shops and taverns in South Australia (please contact us for details) or directly from our brewery.

The Barossa Brewing Company is located in the historic 1860s Wheat Store in Greenock, a quiet hamlet on the western slope of the Barossa. A viewing area and tasting room have been designed to further enhance this boutique brewing operation.

We are open for tasting and sales Saturday & Sunday from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm, so if you’re planning to be in the Barossa, please stop in. We will gladly show off the Wheat Store facility. At other times, Greenock Dark Ale, The Miller’s Lager and Wheatstore Ale are available at the Greenock Creek Tavern, just 120 paces up the road.
